Writing about love two days before Valentine's Day, this won't be one of those romantic poetic pieces after all. I won't dedicate this article to new love, fireworks or butterflies.
I want to
share my thoughts about pervasive love. And I don’t mean love between only two people.
What I mean is the love that’s all around us.
There's one way of describing love that I really like:
Love is the total acceptance of the other person
with all their amenity and flaws.
with all their amenity and flaws.
Adding to that, you've probably heard of the rule that says a person that is nice to you but not to the waiter is
not a nice person.
I'm talking about a loving state of mind which allows you to see the world around you in its beauty and appreciate others without misconceptions caused by intolerance and prejudice. Seeing others and the world around you as a miracle and worthy of love and respect is one of the greatest gifts you can make yourself for this year’s Valentine’s. It will contribute to your overall well-being and it will also contribute to things not bothering you as much as they usually do.

And if you
like it, why not keep on loving instead of judging and complaining?
